What is it to be curiouser and curiouser?

At 42 I gifted myself a middle aged gap year. No maps, no destination and no drunken rendezvous with an Australian backpacker in the back of an Contiki bus. Just the small task of discovering who I am and what I like to do without the worry of work weighing heavily on my shoulders. I spent the best part of 20 years in the media and marketing industry, dreaming up strategies to help brands find their audience and sell, sell, sell. I learnt some interesting things along the way but started to question is this all there is? To work until this magical date in the future where we can finally live our lives? Like Alice, I started to get Curiouser and Curiouser and I found the world seemed stranger every time I started to question something I thought to always be true.

I have created Curiouser and Curiouser to share the most wonderfully interesting things I find out in my quest to question the unquestionable. The books, the articles and my honest view on what it all means.

Life has become complicated with new information hurtling towards us at speed most of our waking lives. And for the curious, we end up getting ourselves further and further down the rabbit hole with every scroll, often missing out on what’s most interesting, thought provoking and useful. Bi-weekly I will share with you my curious thoughts alongside what I’ve been reading, listening to and watching so you can stay curious too.
